There seems to always be more stairs for Rob to climb.
* On our very first day in Saguenay, Quebec, we climbed many steps through their Sentier Des Rats Musqués (Muskrat Trail).
* We got very skilled at stairs in the Bella - Cafeteria on the 4th deck and best views on the 8th deck.
* Even in the oh-so-flat Sept-Îles, Quebec, we found some stairs...
* The wonderful boardwalk hike to Gin Cove in Mary's Harbour, Labrador, also had many stairs - covered in snow, no less.
* Across town we had more stairs to climb to reach the ruins of Dr. Moret's house.
* As luck would have it, these stairs in Natashquan, Quebec, were broken.
* We climbed 689 steps along Tracey Hill Trail in Red Bay, Labrador.
* We climbed 683 steps to scale Bouquet's Hill Walking Trail in West St. Modeste, Labrador.
* Rob climbing stairs at L'Anse aux Meadows, Newfoundland.
* Visiting Arches Provincial Park, Newfoundland.
* Evening walk from Green Point Campground, Newfoundland, to explore geological wonders - and do some cardio.
* And finally we found some stairs for Rob to walk DOWN, Sea Breeze Park in Twillingate.
* At the Top of Twillingate trail we were up and down like a fiddler's elbow.
* Terra Nova National Park was full of stairs for Rob's cardio: Coastal Trail, Goowiddy Path, and Campground Trail.
* Terra Nova National Park didn't even let Rob walk into our cabin - He had to climb up into our Oasis.
* Poor Rob was up and down stairs all morning doing laundry at our hotel in St. John's.
Laundry in the basement and our room on the second floor. Hild conveniently busy working

It is only to be expected that there are going to be stairs when you hike around anything called Hill.
Our little legs are really tired today from all the ups and downs at Signal Hill, St. John's. North Head Trail
and Battery to Signal Hill Walk, which we would have called "climbs"
* Climbing stairs to Cape Spear Lighthouse and coastal path. Oh so windy, but Rob sets off running anyway!
* Some more stairs brought us to a nice lookout over Corner Brook Gorge, Newfoundland.
Time for some extra cardio exercise on MV Highlanders travelling from Newfoundland to Nova Scotia - From deck 1 to deck 9 - Rob loves his stairs!
Rob found more stairs, this time at Fortress Louisbourg in the Ordonnateur's Residence (Exhibit and Gallery).
One of the stairs seemed to lead to nowhere or to a hidden door!
While exploring Victoria Park in Truro, Nova Scotia, we climbed all 175 steps of Jacob's Ladder.
And, yes, it was really more like a ladder than stairs. Careful where you step!
* Rob sprinting up the stairs from the beach at Hopewell Rocks, New Brunswick.
* Climbing the observation tower at Cape Jourimain Nature Centre, New Brunswick.
At Green Gables Heritage Place, Prince Edward Island, Rob was happy to find a
no-entry staircase along the Balsam Hollow trail - meaning no forced exercise.
And the stairs in the Haunted Woods were downhill so he danced down those.
Anne Shirley of Green Gables would have been very proud of his up-beat outlook on life today.
* On the ferry between Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia Rob had to climb from the bottom to the top deck - again.
* On the Queen's Landing Wharf in Halifax Rob found these oversized steps up to a lookout point.
* During our walk in the salt marshes in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Rob found more stairs as usual.
* We went down and up the stairs at the Reversing Falls a couple of times to see the tide going both ways. Fun in Saint John, New Brunswick.
* Rob loves going down stairs (more than up) - here along Grand Falls Gorge Trail, New Brunswick.
* Hild did not dare to climb out onto the viewing platforms at Mont Saint-Joseph, Quebec. Rob - however - is all about stairs.
* Rob found a new material for stairs - grass! Anse Saint-Georges, Forillon National Park, Quebec
* Rob climing back up from the beach at L'anse aux Amérindiens, Forillon National Park, Quebec
* After a long day's walk we were finally there but it required quite a number of stairs to reach the top:
Belvédère du Mont-Saint-Alban, Forillon National Park, Quebec
* Rob welcomes a "Stairs Closed" sign at Cap-Bon-Ami after a full day of hiking in Forillon Naitonal Park, Quebec.
* Rob climbing to the top deck on the Levis - Quebec City ferry.
