St John's

We had a work day today, while getting our laundry done. We had planned to go on a tour around downtown St John's, but the weather looks better for that tomorrow and we really did need some clean underwear! We had tried to get to the guest laundry last night, but there was a big queue and when we saw an opportunity this morning we figured it was an opportunity too good to miss! The note on the machines was in English and Ukranian (thsnk you, Google Translate) so we figure there must be Ukranian refugees housed here and they probably need the laundry more than we do. At least Rob got his exercise as the laundry was two floors down and there was a lot of up and down checking up on the dryer.

And Hild had already started work when she got up anyway, making Captivate videos of her latest model. The next step was recording the voice-track - which is why she was sitting at her desk doing her best Emperor Palatine impression. She still had isues with noise so she ended up in the toilet - but still with the blanket.

Rob got to catch up on the webb pages - although there are still a lot of videos he needs to edit and insert so there might still new things being posted for previous days yet. We still got a bit of a walk in - to the grocery store for more milk! We found the Newfoundland version of Loblaws - it is called Dominion here, but all the products are the same.
