| After breakfast and chit chat the brave (i.e. Nick) went wild swimming with his friends while the wimps (i.e. Rob and Hild) did a small hike looking at flowers and wildlife. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| For lunch we travelled back across the peninsula and had yummy fish and chips for lunch at the Barn Cafe at Big Sands campsite in Gairloch. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| With some extra carbs to burn off, we went for a walk on the beach. They were not kidding, it is big sands and had equally big jelly fish (and some small ones) but they were all dead and did not add to our have-seen-species-list. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

In the evening we were treated to a viewing of their son, Ewan's,
documentary about the war in Ukraine: "The Longer You Bleed".
He made the documentary
with his partner, Liuba. It was a thoughtprovoking and engaging
watch and we understand why it has done so well at the recent documentary
festival in Toronto and soon also in Greece.
