The day came: It was time to explore more of the UK. Our northern-most point
was to be on Unst Island in Shetland. Not much else was planned from the start - so
the route just evolved as the days went by.
The map shows our entire route. Red lines show ferries, red dotted line shows flights,
blue line shows Rob driving, and yellow line shows Hild driving. Sometimes the blue
and yellow overlap because we switched driving there and back.

* Total 56 days away: 2 nights in a ferry, 11 with family, 12 in hotels, 25 camping in tent, 5 sleeping in Percy.

* We drove 5,491.4 km at an average speed of 60 km/h to a maximum altitude of 1,050 metres (in Norway).

* Hild drove 86 km further than Rob, but we kept the same average speed.

* Total fuel consumption: 5.42 litres per 100 km
