Restoring Bykle Kyrkje

Daniel Addey-Jibb and Olav H. Rygnestad start work on the church in Bykle. The numberingsystem used for the panels.
Daniel Addey-Jibb discovered that the bottom doorsill had extensive rot damage. The doorsill was reconstructed.
Other damages to the wood. Daniel Addey-Jibb makes a new insert.
Hand forged dails were used (blacksmith Olav J. Rysstad, Rysstad). Magne Berdalen shows that tar had been used on the wall panels.
Gunnar Gundersen offers instructions on scraping and painting. May Britt Trydal helps with the painting.
Magne Berdalen and Olav H. Rygnestad collect flagstons for the entrance vestibule. Anders Dalseg saws materials for the shingles (spire).
